The Forge

The Scouts arrived and set up tents. We brought all food and utilities out of the trailer, and cooked spaghetti and meatballs with salad for dinner. After dinner we sat by the fire until it was time for bed.
In the morning we played football before breakfast, then made bacon, eggs and pancakes for breakfast. Because of crazy winds we weren’t able to pack up the tents or do rock climbing, so we started our activities with paddle boats and kayaks.
Afterwards we tried outdoor laser tag, and beat another Troop playing head to head.
We finished the morning with archery and axe throwing, then had lunch. One of my friends slammed their fist into a ketchup packet to see what would happen, and it exploded all over me! After a quick cleanup we finished packing the trailer and headed back to Glencoe.
