Wisconsin Biking and Zion Beach Campout
This weekend Troop 28 had its first campout of the new Scouting year.
We set up camp and unloaded our bikes at the Illinois Beach State Park Campground in Zion IL, then biked from the campground to the Wisconsin border and back.
We stopped for ice cream on the return, then made a delicious foil pack dinner and Dutch oven dessert.
The round trip bike ride was just over 15 miles.
